“Naughty” No More: Megan Alder returns to Richland for solo performance

RICHLAND, Washington — Megan Alder performs solo at Emerald of Siam in Richland, WA on
Saturday, November 30 from 6-8pm. This is a free show for all ages.

Megan Alder is a former member of the Columbia Gorge-based bluegrass duo, Naughty
Sweethearts. The Sweethearts debuted at Emerald of Siam in 2017 and toured extensively
throughout the Pacific Northwest for another two years. The Tri-City Herald’s Sara Schilling
covered their romance story with her piece, “The Naughty Sweethearts – off the grid, in the
groove – bring high-energy Americana to Richland.”1 After a blowout breakup, the two parted
ways in early 2019.

Now, after a year of self-reflection and reconnection, Megan is back on tour with new music all
her own. Her solo act features fast flat-picking, live looping, and her angelic vocal stylings.
Her original songs are high-energy with sassy, kiss-off lyrics. She performs swing classics and
modern hits, energizing audiences of all ages.

Megan hails from Lyle, WA where she writes and records music in her off-grid cabin.  Her self-
